Basic Electronics: Diodes and Transistors

Those attending MUST have completed either Basic Electronics: Direct Current Circuits OR Basic Electronics: Alternating Current Circuits. This three-hour class will cover both the theory and practice of how diodes and transistors work and how they can be used in practical circuits. NPN and PNP transistors and MOSFET devices and several diode types will be covered. If time permits, we will also introduce logic gates in theory and practice. Those attending MUST have completed either Basic Electronics: Direct Current Circuits OR Basic electronics: Alternating Current Circuits.
