Basic Electronics: Direct Current (DC) Circuits

This three-hour class will cover both the theory and practice of basic direct current circuits. We will cover Ohms Law, Kirchhoff's Laws (voltage and current), Joule's Law (power). We will also build actual circuits on a breadboard and make measurements of the real world results from actual electrical components. Time will be provided for participants to experiment with their own circuit designs including making measurements of them.

Each participant will receive a DFRobot Basic Electronics Starter Kit for Beginners - with UNO R3 Board, Compatible with Arduino IDE, 83 Labeled Components & 12 Step-by-Step Tutorials.

This is the first of a planned four class sequence to introduce YOU to the fun field of electronics. The instructors will share their decades of experience in electronics and amateur radio.
