Stone Cutting and Cabbing from Start to Finish

Our jewelry shop lead will be teaching the beginner basics of cabochon cutting and grinding on the three new machines available at the maker space. We will start from a rough stone (Either bring one or we have some at the maker space) and cut it into a slab on one of the saws. Next we will trim the slab into a shape and polish it on the diamond polishing machine. This will give you the chance to customize your jewelry from any rough stone into a finished cabochon before setting.
