A Turned Box is a great project. You can turn simple or elaborate wooden boxes. A box is a small container that has a lid to cover the top. They make great keepsakes or gifts.

This box will look nice and have an easy to turn shape and lid. You will learn to turn a typical box with this design. That includes some design concepts, mounting the work piece, cutting the lid from the body, shaping and mounting both parts. Then fitting the lid to the body.

Finally we will complete the box and apply a durable, yet renewable finish.
