Makers should make things on Maker Monday. Turn something simple to find out what woodturning is about.

The Project for this session will be toTurn a Wooden Handle for your file. There are way to many files in toolboxes without a handle or one of those cheap plastic handles. Did you know the short tang on a bare fnle can be dangerous. Many Machine Shops consider an unhandled file in your toolbox a firing offense. This is an easy project for anyone and who wouldn't want a file all decked out with a wooden handle that looks nice and fits your hand.

Bring your file. Handle turning applies to more than just files.

We will have several experienced woodturners, Members of South Kansas Woodturners, available.

Kid Friendly, requires Parent with those under 16.
