Beginner’s Balloon Sculpting

Hi! I’ve primarily made my living as a balloon sculptor for about 40 years, but my favorite part is teaching others. This will be a beginning class and young children are welcome if they have an older person to help them. We will start by going over how to inflate balloons, types of balloons, and how to tie a balloon. Then, we’ll make some very simple sculptures, including: swords, dogs, giraffes and balloon hats. Each person will get a bag of 100 animal twisting balloons (called 260’s by professionals). Pumps will be available for use. My hope is that enough will become familiar with balloon art to take an intermediate class that will be scheduled a couple weeks later.

Children under 10 should have an older child or adult to help them.
