Ceramics : Plaster Safety

In this safety session participants will learn proper procedures for handing, measuring, mixing, pouring, and cleanup for pottery plaster. They will also participate in the removal of a slip cast item from a two part plaster mold. MakeICT has a variety of slip molds available for casting by members. I also teach a class on making two part molds.
No materials required everyone will be able to walk away with a cast item from the class. This item will then need to be bisque fired, glazed, and glaze fired.
