In this class participants will learn how to properly separate colors from an image to print 2, 3, or 4 color prints on the 4 head press at MakeICT. Please note this will not cover CMYK color separation. We will start in the classroom and move the to printmaking room where participants can choose 1 of the pre-exposed 2 color prints. After choosing participants will learn to set up registration and the basics of platen and off-contact adjustments. Prints will be made on a white or black 15"x16"(381mmx406.4mm) pellon. Pellons are screen print test squares made from heat resistant non-woven fabric. Ideal for both production test printing, design display and promotion.

This class will not teach you how to expose a screen or proper printing techniques. While these skills are not required for the class they will certainly assist in a successful print.
