T-shirts are everywhere! Sometimes they're great as they are, but they can also be fun to make into something else. In this workshop we'll talk about how to cut/sew/tie your way to t-shirt awesomeness. We'll review common techniques, mistakes, and fit improvements. Most of the class will be about simple upgrades to make your t-shirts into cooler t-shirts but we'll also talk about using shirts to make whole new items like skirts, bags, scarves and even dresses.
This workshop is BYOS - bring at least one t-shirt! The bigger the shirt the more you've got to work with. If you've got extra shirts to share, bring them too, it's nice to have some sacrificial shirts for hems, ties, and embellishments. Wear a camisole if you'd like to facilitate quick trying-on of new styles.
