Sewing Metal and Fabric with Malissa Long

Take your sewing in a new direction by learning techniques to embellish fiber with metal. In this class you will make a post card size sample or work of art. Postcard, mistifuse, some muslin or limited color 100% cotton fabric, and metal provided. You can always pull fabric from the Make Stash. You will need to provide your own sewing machine, size 14 denim needle, a bobbin of black or white thread and selection of thread for decorative stitching. If you are interested in taking this class and do not have a machine please contact me malissa[at]makeict.org I have 2 personal machines that I can loan, but first come first serve.
