Intro to the Metal Lathe with James Harder

This is an introduction to the metal lathes. It will cover the basics of lathe operation, such as facing, boring, turning, and tapping. Each student will machine a marking gauge as a project. Successful completion of this course will authorize the student to operate the metal lathes at MakeICT in the future. Required authorizations: Metalshop
