The objective of the class will be to expose the student through instruction and hands on experience to some of the capabilites of a router. Emphasis is on the router but other tools listed below will be used in the class.
A completed name plaque will be made by each student. The student will engrave their name or initials on a piece of wood and give the top edge a profile. They will also create a pair of keyhole slots on the back of the plaque.
In addition each student will have the opportunity to create several different types of cuts using a selection of bits.
