Watercolor Workshop: Basic Strokes

This Watercolor Workshop will teach basic watercolor techniques while working on a small painting project.

Please bring:
Watercolors
Washy tape or blue painter's tape
Watercolor paper

I'll have brushes, paper towels, sharpie thin pens, and water containers available for use.

Gradient Wash
Brush control (Thin lines, thick lines, stippling, etc.)
Bleeding
Layering
Blotting
Texturing

About the instructor:
Born and raised in Kansas, Tyra (She/They) is an Eco-Artist residing in Wichita, KS and has always been interested in the connection to earth-friendly art practices. She runs an art studio where they make eco-friendly watercolors by hand and teach watercolor classes both in person and online.
