Kindness Rocks are painted with inspirational messages or images to help uplift whoever finds them. For this event we'll sit and paint - minimal instruction, minimal artistic skills required.

For this event we will provide rocks, paints, paint pens, labels and sealer.

Please bring:

- A cardboard box or shoebox to take your rocks home, since they might not be completely dry you can't throw them in a bag.

- A paint smock or apron if you want to protect your clothes. Acrylic paints are permanent.

Registration is required but everybody who registers can bring two friends or kids. Age 5 and up required.

You do not have to be there at exactly 7:00.

Some guidelines for kindness rocks:

1) Hide rocks anywhere you think they might be found. You never know who you're going to help!

2) Always ask businesses for permission before hiding rocks inside

3) Don't hide rocks where they can fall and hurt someone

4) Don't hide rocks in grass that gets mowed, as they can damage mowers

5) Keep your art family friendly

6) No trespassing to hide rocks

This event was inspired by the Kindness Rocks Project, which was created to spread inspiration and motivation for unsuspecting recipients through random inspirational rocks dropped along the way. If one person finds a rock with a message that speaks to them during a difficult time, OUR efforts have made a difference!
