Tabbed Box Drawer Organizers with Kim Burton

Do you need containers to help you get organized? Do you enjoy rectangles? Come learn how to use Inkscape to design a small tabbed box with custom dimensions to meet your needs. We'll also show you how to add more subdividers within a box if you're feeling advanced. 3MM thick unbleached hardboard will be provided for you to cut out a practice design on our 80W CO2 Rabbit laser cutter. If you have a specific size in mind, bring dimensions in millimeters for the length, width and depth. Think small since we're just getting started. The provided materials will allow for pencil-case sized organizers, but after this class you'll have the design skills to move up any size on your own. Intermediate computer proficiency is required. Users must be comfortable with web browsing, Windows file folder navigation, copy and paste shortcut keys, and mouse operation. Laser cutter authorization is required.
