The Viking knit, also known as "trichinopoly chain", is a wire weaving technique with an ancient history and many variations. The Viking knit produces beautiful hollow tubes of knitted chain which can be fashioned into many different things.
John Cody, a MakeICT member, volunteer, and jewelry-making enthusiast will demonstrate and teach the tools and techniques used in Viking wire weaving. Participants will make and take home Viking wire bracelets of their own design.
